At voyAIge, your privacy is foundational to everything we do. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What We Collect

• Photo metadata: When you upload photos, voyAIge reads location data embedded in those photos to map your trips and build your journal entries.
• Account information: Your name, email, and password when you create an account.
• Trip content: Journal entries, selected photos, and any content you create or upload.
• Group trip data: When you participate in a shared trip, your contributions are visible to other members of that trip.

How We Use Your Data

• All your data is stored in our secure, enclosed cloud environment.
• We use AI models within our secure environment to help generate trip entries and journal content.
• When you choose to use AI-assisted trip writing, you select which photos to use. Those selected photos may be processed by third-party image recognition services for landmark identification — only with your explicit permission and only for the photos you select.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not display ads in the app.
• We do not send your data anywhere outside our secure environment — except the opt-in image recognition described above.

Data Retention

Your photos and trip data remain in your account for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you leave a group trip, your individual contributions can be removed at your request.

Your Rights

• Access, export, or delete your data at any time.
• Choose whether to use AI-assisted features — they are always opt-in.
• Control which photos are shared for landmark identification.
• Leave group trips and remove your contributions at any time.

Children's Privacy

voyAIge is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
